From 22 to 24 June 2007, the first IPC Women in Paralympic Sport Leadership Summit in Europe will be held in Bonn, Germany.
The three-day Summit is designed to bridge existing gaps in opportunities for girls and women with a disability in Paralympic Sport. It will provide a forum for dialogue, policy and leadership development through a combination of interactive workshops, discussions and leadership training. Moreover, it will give participants the opportunity to develop an action plan for the European Region to increase gender equity and increase opportunities for girls and women in Paralympic Sport in Europe.
The Summit is open to all persons that share an interest in gender equity, while the IPC would like to encourage the participation of women and persons with a disability.
